Many In Brookfield Blast Proposed Apartment Complex

BROOKFIELD — Brookfield residents have mounted a social media campaign criticizing a planned apartment complex at the Four Corners, according to a report in the News-Times.

Opponents of the plan have an ally in First Selectman-elect Steve Dunn, who proposed a moratorium on Four Corners development during his campaign, the News-Times reported. 

Plans for The Renaissance on Federal Road call for 156 apartment units in a four-story building, but the developer has asked for a zoning change that would permit six stories, according to the News-Times.
